Simply put, our mission is Mental Health First. After spending time in our facility and with our team we want our members to walk out of our doors feeling like they are part of a supportive community - and like they are a better version of themselves.
It isn’t the scientific sum of calories, workouts, and weight that keeps our members returning. It is not the cutting-edge equipment and technology. It is the community and the mission that counts.
Our team cares about guiding and encouraging each and every member to obtain the goals they seek for themselves. Our members’ goals are specific and if we can assist in that journey to realizing their aspirations then we have truly helped them change their life.

Kris is the founder and owner of Shift, which she built on the belief that movement has the power to transform both physical and mental well-being. A licensed mental health counselor, 6x Boston Marathon qualifier, endurance athlete, and fitness professional, Kris has dedicated her career to creating an inclusive community where people of every age, ability, and fitness level feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Her passion for mental health extends far beyond the studio walls. Kris is the founder of Miles for Mental Health, an annual community event that raises awareness, reduces stigma, and reminds people that it’s okay not to be okay. As a HOKA Flyer and longtime advocate for joyful movement, she believes fitness should be about building confidence, resilience, and connection - not chasing perfection.
Through Shift, Kris. mission is to redefine what a fitness community can be: a place where people come not only to get stronger, but to feel better, find belonging, and leave each class with a healthier body, a clearer mind, and a fuller heart.

There are a lot of gyms out there. Very few have a tight-knit community as we do.
Kris Fabbri started Sh;ft because their story was the same story many of our clients face. They too had to overcome all the obstacles that keep people from living a healthy life.
No gimmicks. No corporate nonsense. Just a fellow survivor of this chaotic life who is determined to help every person find a higher quality of life through greater mental + physical health.
Mental health starts with physical health, community, and empowering experiences together. Time to Change the Cycle!
